(13-07-2026) Silver X Mining Corp. (TSX-V: AGX; OTCQX: AGXPF), Vancouver, a company focused on exploration, development, and silver production in Peru, reported a 39% increase in ore processed at its Nueva Recuperada processing plant in Huancavelica during the Q2 2026 compared with the previous quarter.
Ore throughput increased to 62,252 tonnes in Q2 2026, up from 44,883 tonnes in Q1 2026 and 34,899 tonnes in Q2 2025. The increase was driven by the continued expansion of plant processing capacity.
The plant averaged approximately 684 tonnes per day during the quarter and reached roughly 751 tonnes per day (tpd) in April, effectively achieving its 750 tpd nameplate capacity.
Processed silver production rose to 175,560 ounces in Q2 2026, representing increases of 40% over Q1 2026 and 75% over Q2 2025 due to higher production volumes.
Processed gold production reached 2,204 ounces, an increase of 55% from the previous quarter and 233% from the same period last year. The improvement reflected both higher production volumes and stronger average gold grades of 1.10 g/t, as mining focused on higher-value zones.
Processed silver-equivalent production totaled 380,436 ounces, while produced silver-equivalent output reached 283,029 ounces during the quarter, representing increases of 50% and 57%, respectively, over the first quarter of 2026.
Underground development totaled 3,159 meters during Q2 2026, compared with 2,440 meters in the previous quarter, improving access to new mining areas and supporting sustained production growth.
For the first half of 2026, the company processed approximately 634,000 silver-equivalent ounces and produced 463,000 silver-equivalent ounces, remaining on track toward its long-term objective of producing approximately 6 million silver-equivalent ounces annually by 2029.
