(13-07-2026) Peruvian Metals Corp. (TSX-V: PER; OTC Pink: DUVNF), Edmonton, a mineral exploration and processing company focused on Peru, expects 2026 to become a record year for ore processing at its 80%-owned Aguila Norte processing plant, located in the La Libertad region.

During the first six months of 2026, the plant operated at full capacity, processing 18,269 tonnes of third-party polymetallic ore, compared with 18,500 tonnes during the same period in 2025 and 14,869 tonnes in 2024.

Year-to-date production is slightly below the comparable period in 2025 due to scheduled maintenance and an overhaul of the plant’s ball mill. However, the company expects the plant to operate at full capacity for the remainder of the year and anticipates another record annual production result.

Since 2018, the plant has processed nearly 210,000 tonnes of ore, and management expressed satisfaction with the long-term durability of its processing equipment.

Peruvian Metals is also advancing its 100%-owned Palta Dorada gold-silver project in the Ancash region and its 50%-owned Mercedes property in Junín, while continuing to evaluate additional gold exploration properties.
