(13-07-2026) King Copper Discovery Corp. (TSX-V: KCP; OTCQB: TBXXF; FSE: 3RI), Vancouver, a company developing the Colquemayo copper-gold-silver project in Peru’s Moquegua region, announced that it has received approval of its Environmental Impact Declaration (DIA) through its wholly owned subsidiary Aurora Copper Peru S.A.C.

The approval provides the environmental certification required to begin its exploration drilling campaign, authorizing up to 36,010 meters of diamond drilling from 40 drill platforms comprising 59 drill holes.

In addition to approving the drilling program, the DIA authorizes exploration across several high-priority target areas identified through the company’s geological reinterpretation and field prospecting. It also allows the company to evaluate mineralization below previously drilled depths and improve understanding of the relationship between the extensive high-sulfidation epithermal system and multiple underlying porphyry targets.

Previous drilling intersected 15.15 meters @ 27% Cu, within a broader interval of 237.3 meters @ 2.4% Cu, beginning at a depth of 306.25 meters in drill hole COQ-10-36.

“The DIA approval represents a significant milestone, and we thank the local communities for their support and collaboration throughout the permitting process,” said Chico Azevedo, Vice President of Business Development.
