First Andes Silver Ltd (TSX-V: FAS; OTC Markets: MSLVF; FSE: 9TZ), Vancouver, exploration company focused on its Santas Gloria silver project, located 55 km east of Lima, expects to receive the first batch of results from its recent 2,000-meter diamond drilling program at the project in approximately two weeks.

Drilling has intersected multiple additional epithermal zones containing sulfides in the San Jorge vein system. According to the company, this further supports the presence of a structurally controlled silver-polymetallic system at depth.

“In particular, the sulfide breccias intersected in SG023, SG020, and SG021 display strong structural control and increasing polymetallic mineralization at depth, with the presence of pyrite, galena, and sphalerite”, said Colin Smith, CEO and Director of First Andes Silver.

To date, a total of 1,092 m in 8 holes have been drilled, with 188 samples (154.20 m) submitted for analysis.
