(13-08-2025) The Caylloma polymetallic mine, located in Arequipa, produced 240,621 ounces of silver @ 64 g/t during Q2 2025, a 21% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.

Caylloma is owned by Fortuna Mining Corp. (NYSE: FSM; TSX: FVI), Vancouver, a precious metals mining company with lead and zinc by-products and operations in Argentina, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mexico, Peru, and Senegal.

Lead and zinc production for the quarter was 8.9 million pounds and 12.9 million pounds, respectively, with head grades averaging 3.23% and 4.63%, representing a 16% and 3.5% decrease, respectively, compared to the same quarter in 2024. Production was lower due to reduced head grades and was in line with the mine plan.

The cash cost per silver equivalent ounce sold in Q1 2025 was $15.16, compared to $13.94 in the same period of 2024. The higher cost per ounce for the quarter was mainly the result of lower silver production and the impact of higher realized silver prices on the calculation of silver equivalent ounces sold.

The all-in sustaining cash cost (AISC) per payable silver equivalent ounce in Q2 2025 increased 9% to US$21.73, compared to US$19.87 in the same period of 2024. This quarterly increase was driven by higher cash costs per ounce and a lower number of silver equivalent ounces, due to higher silver prices and higher worker participation costs.
