(26-01-2026) Ferreyros, a leader in heavy machinery and specialized services, launched the Cat 333 hydraulic excavator, weighing 32.1 tons. It has a higher loading capacity than various heavier operating equipment in the market, contributing to the ability of construction and mining companies to achieve higher production in the field.
The launch took place in the cities of Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huancayo, Lima, and Trujillo, as part of the “Cat in Your City” events. During these events, the company’s clients appreciated the new excavator and learned about its benefits and productivity in various types of projects.
The Cat 333 is equipped with a 2.36 m³ bucket, larger than the average in its category, allowing for superior loading capacity, surpassing that of larger equipment. This model also features a Cat C7.1 engine with 260 horsepower and high efficiency, driven by a fuel consumption of only 23 liters per hour of work, corresponding to the “Guaranteed Fuel” campaign, exclusive to Caterpillar and Ferreyros.
With 101 years of history, Ferreyros has been a representative of Caterpillar in Peru since 1942 and has over 4,500 employees nationwide.
