(19-02-2021) Compania de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. (NYSE: BVN; BVL: BUE. LM), Lima, local leader in the production of precious metals, announced that it will process third-party ore in its Orcopampa mining unit in Arequipa.
So was announced in a supporting technical report (ITS) submitted to SENACE where it states that Orcopampa will be in the position to process up to 660 tpd of third-party ore.
Orcopampa has an environmental certification to process 4,000tpd (120,000t/month). The plant currently has available capacity that is not being used due to a decrease in ore reserves.
