Cía. de Minas Buenaventura, Lima, local leading precious metals’ producer plans to implement 263 new drilling pads, extending the program to 283,650 meters in its silver project Yumpag, located 5km northeast of its Uchucchacua mine, in the province of Daniel Alcides Carrion, in Pasco, adjacent to the province of Oyon, north of Lima region, where the mine is.
This is in order to generate more information on the deposit’s natural resources to support the investment decisions and characteristics of future exploration from a technical and economic standpoint. This is according to the document with the Amendment to the Semi-detailed Environmental Impact Statement, that the company has just submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
